Terremark’s new NAP of the Capital Region
June 23, 2008 — (GREEN DATA CENTER INFO) — ZDNet blogger Heather Clancy reported yesterday that Terremark (terremark.com) is on target with its new green data center set to open this Thursday near Washington, DC.
Clancy first wrote about Terremark Worldwide’s new NAP of the Capital Region in Culpepper, VA, last fall.
In last week’s interview with Norm Laudermilch, the managing director of the facility, Clancy learned about many design points including rotary UPSes, variable-speed fans, modularity, cooling innovation and utility computing support.
