Promise Technology Joins Green Grid

August 27, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center storage technologies provider Promise Technology (promise.com) announced on Wednesday it has joined The Green Grid (thegreengrid.org), a global organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency in data centers and business computing ecosystems.
The Green Grid strives to promote the adoption of energy efficient standards, processes, measurements and technologies. The organization is comprised of an interactive body of members who share and improve current best practices around data center efficiency.
By joining The Green Grid, Promise Technology is helping influence both developers and end users of data center technology.
